We hope everyone had a wonderful New Years! We have been very busy the last two weeks with the Richmond Bridal Showcase (but more on that later Its Wedding Gown Wednesday!). This week we are showcasing a simple classic ball gown by Mikaella that we have named "Alaina." The dress is shown in a natural white satin and is also available in champagne. One of the reason we wanted to showcase this dress is because there is no ruching on the bodice. That is something you don't see very much of these days because most bodices have ruching.
This bodice has a simple sweetheart neckline and no ruching, it has a slightly lower then a natural waist. There is a embellished broach at the natural waist on top of a satin finished ribbon. The skirt is simple with large box pleats to give the skirt its ball gown fullness. This dress does have a hidden surprise, pockets!
