Wedding Gown Wednesday: "Esmeralda"

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! This week we are featuring a Pronovias gown named "Esmeralda." Recently we've had brides requesting gowns that have a neckline other than strapless, so we decided to feature such a design this week for Wedding Gown Wednesday.

"Esmeralda" is an all-satin gown that has a v-neck with thin straps that sit on the edge of the shoulder and taper down to spaghetti straps to show off the back. The bodice and hip area are accented with small folded ruching for a flattering fit.

The train has beautiful draping, which continues the pleats through the train. This is a simple dress with just the right amount of sass because of the fit and a little drama with the train. Wedding Gown Wednesday: Primerose and Poppy

Last season WToo started doing separates. We are excited about this as a new option for their line. Many couture designers do separates with varying styles for skirts and tops. Today we are featuring their Primerose top and Poppy bottom.

Primerose is a sweetheart lace corset scattered with Swarovski crystals and a lace up back. The skirt, Poppy, is a fun, bustled silky taffeta with a tulle overlay. We love this asymmetrical skirt with the different pick-ups and bustles. The train is chapel length, which when bustled looks like the rest of the skirt.

Wedding Gown Wednesday: Tara Keely Show from Market

This week we are sharing highlights from the Tara Keely fashion show at this year's bridal fashion week. This is just a small peek into some of their beautiful designs.

Tara Keely is featuring a lot of body-hugging silhouettes this season. We also saw lots of tulle and lace detail. Many of the gowns have low scalloped lace backs, which is very delicate and quite beautiful. All of the dresses have some sort of texture and the detail is absolutely gorgeous.

We are looking forward to receiving our samples and can't wait until they arrive!

Wedding Gown Wednesday: More from Market

We wanted to share a little more from this year's Bridal Fashion Week. This week we are featuring new designs from Marisa. This season they're showcasing dresses with a lot of draping and fabric detail—gowns with very soft, romantic fabrics like organza, tulle, and lace.

Marisa has incorporated some very beautiful beading this season with belts, sashes and very intricately beaded bodices. We love how Marisa doesn't stick to just one style but changes things up with each lovely dress. We can't wait to get our samples of the lovely gowns we ordered!
