Wedding Gown Wednesday: "Tempest"

We decided this week to showcase a gown that is definitely unique. "Tempest," a design by Pronovias, is truly different from any other dress we have at Bella Rosa.

This dress is a simple shape made one-of-a-kind by the thin pieces of lace which are gathered and sewn into a ruffle-like design. The long train has a light frothy feeling like a delicate whipped cream. If you think this whimsical design might be your dream dress we would love for you to make an appointment to try this gown on.

Wedding Gown Wednesday: "Julia"

This week we decided to pick a classic look from Bliss Monique L'uillier that we have renamed “Julia.” We thought it would be nice to feature a pretty A-line lace gown.

The distinctive neckline features lace that scallops slightly above the top of the gown in a unique design. The dress is a full re-embroidered Alençon lace gown with subtle beading. We think this beading is so pretty and delicate with a color that is not typical in bead work. Of course there is tone-on-tone beading that softly shimmers in the light, but the other beading color is a gold/champagne color that provides added depth to the dress.

The hem has a scalloped edge that gives the dress a dainty and feminine feel. If you are a girl that doesn't want a long train this could be a great gown for you because it is a gentle sweep. We also love the covered buttons down the back of the gown.

If you think “Julia” might be your dream dress we would love for you to set up an appointment to come take a look.

Wedding Gown Wednesday: "Gretchen"

We have been waiting all week to share our pick for this Wedding Gown Wednesday. We love this dress so much! A new arrival last week, as soon as our ladies saw this dress they declared we absolutely have to feature this gown on the blog. "Gretchen," designed by Paloma Blanca is definitely a more modern gown.

The bodice is ruched with a sweetheart neckline. The fun, unique bottom is what we really love about this dress. An entirely floral skirt makes this gown fun, flirty, and even a little bit sassy.

Although this dress is more fitted it is constructed very well and will create a small waistline for almost any bride (if you are a bride who wants to show off that great booty it is a perfect dress for that). If you envision feeling sassy and fun on your wedding day this could be the gown for you! We would love for you to set up an appointment and come see "Gretchen" in person.

Wedding Gown Wednesday: "Elin"

One thing we love about Wedding Gown Wednesday is that we are able to show trends that are becoming more popular. Many of our designers have created more ball gowns recently than in past seasons. Today we are featuring a great new ball gown from Paloma Blanca that we have re-named "Elin." "Elin" has very beautiful but simple lines. A sweetheart neckline is ruched into the bodice, providing great definition to the waistline, giving any bride a beautiful shape. We love the beading under the bust line that wraps all the way around to the zipper at the back of the gown. The intricate detail is so beautifully laid out. The skirt has box pleats all around a slightly dropped waist to create the fullness of a nice-sized ball gown. If you want to feel like a princess on your wedding day, this could be you gown. If you've been searching for that one special princess gown we would love to have you come in for an appointment!
