Wedding Gown Wednesday: Spring

After all the yucky snow this week we thought we'd share a little glimpse of Spring. Yesterday we received an adorable flower girl dress from Dessy Group in their new nantucket print. This cute little dress has an oversized bow on the left shoulder with some slight ruching at the waist. The waist has a matching sash with a full skirt, and this skirt has POCKETS! We are very excited for our first flower girl dress with pockets! We hope this little bit of Spring has helped warm you up a bit in the midst of our cold Winter.

Fa La La La Friday

This week Bella Rosa has been just a tad busy as many brides are home for the holidays and are dress shopping with family and friends. So this week we are replacing Wedding Gown Wednesday with Fa La La La Friday and featuring a beautiful gown that's perfect for the season. Even though the fabric is great for all seasons it looks so beautiful with our holiday décor. Meet "Kayla," designed by Monique L'huillier from her Bliss line. This lovely gown is all tulle with a dipped neck line that is embellished with beautiful pearls and sequins arranged all over the bodice. The natural waist is accentuated by a satin-faced ribbon, the billowy skirt is made of hand-tufted pickups reminiscent of a lovely winter snowfall. Wedding Gown Wednesday: Sadie

This week we picked "Sadie" by Monique L'huillier. This beautiful gown is a non-traditional sheath-style dress. The dress is full re-embroidered lace. The neck line has a raised collar and plunges into a slight V. There is a vintage-style ribbon woven throughout the natural waistline. The back is completely covered with a sheer lace, giving the illusion of an open back while remaining more on the conservative side. The small sweep train has three bows for detail. If you are looking for a gown that is slightly preppy and sweetly sexy this is a gown you should consider. We would love to have you make an appointment to try on the lovely "Sadie."

Monique L'huillier Trunk Show

This past weekend we had an amazing Monique L'huillier trunk show. She sent so many beautiful and unique gowns. One of our favorites was a dress that had origami-like fans covering the entire skirt. Another great gown was one that had small ribbon pieces that gave the effect of little twigs. So many of the dresses had beautiful 3-dimensional designs. It is always such a treat when we have a Monique L'huillier trunk show because it brings in so many amazing one-of-a-kind gowns that we don't normally have. We are very much looking forward to the next time these lovely dresses are back in our store.

Wedding Gown Wednesday: Robyn

This week we picked “Robyn,” a design by Monique L'huillier from her Bliss line. The neckline is dipped with lace eyelash detail. The bodice has three-dimensional flowers and beading on top of lace. Ruched banding of dupioni silk is used to accentuate the waistline. The skirt has layers all the way to the bottom of the skirt. This gown is definitely one-of-a-kind. Wedding Gown Wednesday: Hayley

This week we are featuring a beautiful classic dress. "Hayley," designed by 2Be Bridal, is a recent arrival to Bella Rosa. A sweetheart neckline and bodice are both elegantly ruched. The waistline is dropped with a subtle beaded detail that joins the bodice with the skirt, which is full a-line. Buttons start at the top of the dress and go all the way down to the bottom of the train. If you like a gown that has just a touch of sparkle embellishment and is classically beautiful, we'd love to have you come in and try on this gown.
